The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the Kogi state governorship election inconclusive.
INEC says 49,913 registered voters in 91 polling units could not vote due to cancelled elections in ninety one polling units as a result of violence, irregularities or card reader challenges.
INEC's Returning Officer, Professor Emmanuel Kucha while addressing journalists at the collation centre in Lokoja declared that the 41,353 votes difference between APC's Abubakar Audu and PDP's Idris Wada is lower than cancelled results spread across 91 polling units of the state hence no winner could be announced.
Supplementary election will now hold at a rescheduled date yet to be announced by INEC
