Blackface, one of the members of the former Plantaintion Boiz group, who has once been in the news for claiming he wrote the evergreen African Queen song for 2face his former colleague in the group, has come out again to claim he owns the Let Somebody Love You song off 2face's Ascension album, and also accusing Wizkid of stealing some of his materials.
He revealed this in a chat with HipTv saying 2face has stolen some of his other songs aside Let Someday Love You. He also said the likes of 2face and other A-list artistes have prevented artistes like him from rising to the top saying they (the A-list artistes) continually blackmail him saying he isn't reliable.
Addressing 2face, the reggae singer said 'I don't have any problem with him, he knows what he is doing, there are so many songs of mine he has taken, its not just this Let Somebody love You, there are some songs that we were writing but aren't finished yet and some people have upper hand in writing some songs so when I am writing a songs and he knows I haven't finished it and in my absence he puts it into a record'.
Addressing Psquare for throwing their weight behind 2face, he said 'I don't have a problem with them, they just wanna be relevant jumping into business that is not theirs but you know a copycat will always cover up for a copycat. they are copycats, from day one we knew them to be copycats, they made their fame off other people's properties'.
He also claims he has been writing them (2face and Wizkid) and also threatened to take legal actions on the matter.
