#StoryTuesday: The Accident (Episode Seven)

The Accident
The couple driving the car where having a little argument as the wife was questioning the husband speed limiting saying stuff like “I have been looking at your speedometer, why haven’t you gone above 80, is there anything wrong with the car and the husband replied her by saying “the other day you said I was driving too fast now that I am watching my speed you are complaining again. That was how the long argument started as the wife was trying to tell the husband what she meant when she said she was driving too fast and all that.
The argument came to an end immediately the traffic warden gave them the signal to move on because it was immediately after this the husband accelerated all the way to 120 and as he did he looked at his wife who looked at him and said “just maintain this speed, I think this is better” and not up thirty minute after this the accent occurred.

Three Months Before The Accident
A week before his P.O.P rumour had spread that the Governor's Award would be going to a corper in Lapai Local Government with those in Takuti and its environs already congratulating Tunde for his achievement, an atmosphere he was enjoying yet when he laid on his bed his thoughts are “what if someone else in Lapai has done something more.....What if I am not the winner?”

But a day before his P.O.P his L.I called him to inform him about the good news and also letting him know that he has to go over to Minna to sign some document and ask if he had any friends in Minna he can sleep with because his P.O.P ceremony would take place in Minna.
Chucks was just coming back from the tap.......

Tunde: Guy, I dey go Minna ooooo, L.I just call me

Chucks: Oya oooo, Baba Nla, Shebi I tell u?

Tunde: Omo I wish I could with someone, I would have love to go with you because without you I won’t have pulled this through.

Chucks: Guy, even if you won carry person, who told you I would go with you?.....abeg that Minna na die though he go make sense make I snap with the Governor

Tunde: Then you must go because the Governor would be there because L.I told me. The only problem now is getting you a pass.

Chucks: Good luck with that bro....I am going to the bathroom.
The Bylaws.......yes........where is the bylaws Tunde shouted as he finally figure out a way that he could make Chuck attend his P.O.P with him and also have the chance to snap with the Governor of Niger State.

After The Accident
Oya make una come down we don reach station oya oya oya.....Madam if you no quiet for there I go look your face ooo........” this were some of the things Officer Tanko was saying as they all got to the station.

Officer Tanko and Officer Jasper were the two officers that brought them to the station while Officer Takuti and Officer Okonta brought the car and the dead body to the station with officer Takuti driving the second police van and Okonta driving the BMW.

Officer Tanko: Bright, Ayo where that una drunk Klint?

Bright, Ay and Klint were the new constables and corporal that were just posted to the police station with Tanko being the highest rank officer among them as he is an inspector while Jasper, Takuti and Okonta are all sergeant. 

Officer Klint: Oga I dey here ooo, na the criminals be this

Officer Tanko: These ones pass criminals, they are murders.......Ay, Bright oya come put dem behind counter before Klint go collect their statement.
